Bridal Design
My freelance bridal work started with invitation design, but often grew into a much larger role, working directly with couples to shape the full look and feel of their day. Taking on planning and coordination alongside the design work meant managing vendors, timelines, and last-minute details, all while staying focused on the creative vision we set out to build together. It's work that taught me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly with a lot of moving parts, and see a project through from first sketch to final execution.
For Allie & Doug, I developed a wedding color palette that set the tone for their entire celebration, then carried it through custom-illustrated save the dates and invitations. Their easygoing, playful energy as a couple became the creative brief, shaping every detail along the way.
For Alison & Jerel, the invitation suite became a chance to showcase something deeply personal — I designed custom save-the-dates and invitations that wove in the bride's own artwork, making the stationery feel like a true extension of who she was. From there, my role expanded into full service planning and day-of coordination, managing vendor relationships and overseeing setup so the couple could be fully present for their day.
For Kirstin & Lucas, I designed custom invitations with a luxe look and feel, presented in beautiful folder envelopes and finished with hand addressing for a personal touch. I also designed a range of print pieces for their reception, extending that same elevated aesthetic throughout the day.
Styled Wedding Vendor Shoot
For this styled vendor promotional shoot, I stepped into the art director role, organizing the collaboration from the ground up and shaping the creative concept, visual direction, and overall storytelling. The goal was to give each participating vendor a cohesive, elevated showcase — one unified vision that still let every contributor's work shine.
